On this edition of ST, we welcome back Marcello Angelini, the longtime artistic director of Tulsa Ballet. This weekend, March 18th through the 20th, Tulsa Ballet with present a three-part program entitled "Masters of Dance" -- it's an energetic and eclectic sampler featuring works by three of Europe's most esteemed choreographers, and it's meant to display the remarkable versatility of Tulsa Ballet. The three works are "Classical Symphony" (choreography by Yuri Possokhov; music by Sergei Prokofiev), "Petite Mort" (choreography by Ji?í Kylián; music by Mozart), and "Rooster" (choreography by Christopher Bruce; music by The Rolling Stones). And as Angelini explains on our show today, after the company performs this trio of masterworks here in our community, Tulsa Ballet will actually be touring Italy in late March and early April in order to stage "Masters of Dance" abroad.
