Real News Matters. And So Do You.
Pretty quiet year so far, am I right?
Just kidding. It’s been nuts.
Hearings…fires…elections…tweets. Complex issues have come fast and furious in 2018, with possibly the biggest stories yet to come. And no one – NO ONE – plays a greater role in Public Radio Tulsa’s ability to provide in-depth, rigorous news coverage than YOU, through your contributions.
Our Fall Fund Drive approaches: September 20 – 21,2018 on KWTU, and September 24 – 29,2018 on KWGS. We will ONLY come to you during programming for four hours a day during the weekdays of the drive, and we will NEVER cover urgent or breaking news.
Why does all this matter? Why, in fact, does YOUR pledge matter?
Here’s why: Our largest single source of funding comes from listeners, like you, making pledges of $10, $15, or $25 a month. Without contributions of $60 or $120 or $250 from listeners, we would not be able to pay our network fees to NPR, which means no Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Fresh Air, or Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!
So, beat the rush. Click on this link to make your pledge. Go crazy…make a pledge of $12.50 a month and select the new Public Radio Tulsa Pint Glass AND Party at Heirloom Rustic Ales. (If you do so by September 25th, you’ll get those Southwood pansies, too!) Learn more about this fall's thank you gifts!
Best of all, know that, thanks to you, Public Radio Tulsa can keep doing what it does so well: Bringing you powerful stories, fact-based journalism, and unforgettable music, every day.
