The French electorate goes to the polls to decide who will be their next president with the economy and national security high on the agenda. The election comes just a few weeks after the shooting in Toulouse shook France. Will the electorate see the far-right candidate Marine Le Pen as a viable alternative to Nicolas Sarkozy? Or will it be the Socialist Party candidate Francois Hollande who benefits?
