The board voted to grant Aramark one final contract for the 2026-2027 school year, but only on the condition that the district may terminate the deal when in-house operations are ready to go.

Aramark replaced TPS’ old supplier of many years. District employees say the transition has not been smooth.

The numbers are alarming -- about 10.2% of American households are food insecure, and about 15.6% Oklahoma households are food insecure.
