On this edition of ST, we listen back to a 2010 interview that we did with Krista Tippett, the Oklahoma-born and Peabody Award-winning host of American Public Media's "On Being," which is heard every Sunday at noon here on Public Radio 89.5. Tippett will be the inaugural speaker tonight (Monday the 7th) in the Harold E. Hill Lecture Series at the University of Tulsa, which begins at 7pm in the Great Hall of the Allen Chapman Activity Center. This lecture is free to the public; you'll find more information about it here. The newly created Harold E. Hill Lecture Series, a program of Tulsa's College Hill Presbyterian Church (CHPC), honors the late Rev. Dr. Harold Hill for his lifetime of work to promote an intellectually honest and scientifically based understanding of religion. Tippett's address will focus on "Einstein's God: Conversations About Science and the Human Spirit" --- and this is also the title of a collection of interviews that she published a few years ago. We spoke with her when that book had just been published.
