A Chat with Laura Kenny of LIFE Senior Services

Aired on Monday, August 27th.

On this edition of ST Medical Monday, our guest is Laura Kenny, the President and Chief Executive Officer of LIFE Senior Services. For 40+ years, this vital Tulsa-based nonprofit has, per its website, "strategically grown to meet the emerging needs of an ever-increasing and diverse aging population. LIFE provides solutions that allow older adults to maintain their independence and live their lives to the fullest. Centers for active aging, caregiver education and support, volunteer opportunities, and affordable housing are just a few of the programs and services that make life better for thousands of older adults each year." In particular, Kenny tells us about LIFE's "PACE" program, which employs a team approach to offer its clients medical, social, nutritional, personal, and home-care services.

Rich Fisher is celebrating his 40th year of service to Public Radio Tulsa. Since 2000, he has been the general manager of Public Radio Tulsa, and previously served as the host of the public affairs program, StudioTulsa, which ran from 1992-2021. Prior to that, he served as music director, a program host and operations director for the station.
