A much-anticipated state audit of Tulsa Public Schools details years of financial irregularities to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.

John Croisant announced Wednesday he will run as a Democrat against incumbent U.S. Rep. Kevin Hern for the 1st Congressional District seat in the 2026 midterms.

Tulsa Public Schools is responding to charges from Oklahoma’s auditor.

A program aims to provide “up to $50,000 in down payment assistance” in the hopes of recruiting and retaining more teachers. It has not been fully funded yet.

More than 3/4 of Oklahoma is made up of farmland, contributing billions of dollars to the state’s economy.

The requirement for monthly reports from TPS stemmed from a fight over the district’s 2023 accreditation.

The OSDE board considered a motion to end the regular in-person reporting to the state. A TPS official wants them to end now.

It was met with opposition from Tulsa’s teachers' union, members of the public and a lawmaker.

Thanks to a federal program, TPS will expand an already-existing meal program to all students.

A proposed board policy intended to help fill a litany of vacancies was shot down after a public comment period filled with opposition.
