Northeast Oklahoma provides a wide range of different types of classes to help with that - whether it's new cooking skills, learning how to work with ceramics, or a new way to challenge myself with a fitness class. If you're itching to learn a new skill, this is for you.

Personally, I am a huge fan of Halloween. It's a fun way to spend time with your family and community, and Northeast Oklahoma is filled with opportunities to get in the Halloween spirit.

From panel discussions to day festivals and classes, there are so many opportunities for us to learn more about other cultures right here in Tulsa.

Getting out in nature and exploring Northeast Oklahoma nature preserves help us learn more about our wildlife here in Northeast Oklahoma, and gets us away from all those screens. And lucky for us, many lovely nature centers are just a short drive away.

Day trips are easy to plan, and don't require the "sleeping in a random bed" experience! Northeast Oklahoma is filled with opportunities to explore that are just a short drive away.

One thing that has always struck me in my short time living in Tulsa is how important community is here. And one way Northeast Oklahomans value this community is through our farmers markets.

Are you also SO excited for the sunshine and weather warming up, or is it just me?! Which means it's also time for the outdoor events to start happening! One thing in we Tulsans enjoy during these months are our local festivals. From art, to whiskey, to cycling, there are plenty of different local festivals that fit what you enjoy to explore.

Now that my garden is ready to go, I'm just waiting for my beautiful morning glories to start sprouting. It's such an exciting feeling, and if you also share the thrill of the green thumb, you are getting ready to start your own gardening. Tulsa has many avenues to check out when it comes to gardening.

March. Spring is closely approaching, the weather is getting warmer, and the holiday of green beer is just a few days away. This feels like the perfect month for us to talk about some of Tulsa's favorite breweries and pubs!
